A Well Played but awesome 1971 Guild D-25 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar with Hard Shell Case.... The Workhorse of the Guild Guitars and this one is terrific.... This one sounds, looks and plays great. It has been played and it looks it... All the expense was already done to this guitar and its awesomeLots of playing scratches around the pickguard and dings and scratches.. No cracks that I can see.. The finish crack that you can see in the photos that travels up towards the bridge is just that, and does not extend thru to the body see pics...

Other than these war wounds, she is ready to work for another 50 years! Heres some info on these cool guitars!

The Mahogany D-25 dreadnought was introduced in 1968 as the Bluegrass D-25. The model remained a budget-friendly mainstay of the Guild acoustic lineup for decades, with major changes coming in 1975 when a Spruce top (died to look like Mahogany was introduced). Though the D-25 was discounted at the end of the'90s, contemporary imported equivalents do exist under the Guild brand. Years of Production: 1968 - 1999 Body Style: Dreadnought Wood Composition: Mahogany back, sides, neck and top, Rosewood fingerboard Design Elements: Rosewood bridge, tortoiseshell pickguard, 25 1/2-inch scale length, dot inlays Notable Guild Acoustic Players: Richie Havens, Nick Drake, John Denver These guitars are not known for their playing ease.

This one however has evidence of a Pro neck reset which gives this great guitar low playing easy action. No sore fingers with this one..

This year of D-25 does not have the arched back.. Mahogany body and Rosewood finger boardAll original parts on it to include..

Tuners, truss rod cover, bridge pickguard and frets The Newer Hardshell case is in great shape. All latches, hinges and handle are present and working properly. The interior is very nice... It is made in Westerly Rhode Island right here in the USA... Some lucky Guitar Player is going to be very happy when they get this one..
