The previous owner painted the top and removed the electronics replacing the opening with a players sound hole. The case alone is worth a couple hundred bucks. The paint on these Carbon Fiber Guitars is plain looking, so I get why the former owner painted it. There was a tiny spot or 2 of the paint he used on the bottom of the guitar by the input jack that came off with Goo-B-Gone so I would imagine you could remove the entire paint job on the top and paint it yourself or have a professional do a trick paint job.
Because the entire guitar is Carbon Fiber... A hardy go anywhere, don't worry about anything, beach, desert, jungle, river rafting guitar... Impervious to temperature or humidity having any effect on it whatsoever.
If you took it with you on a river trip you could use it as a paddle and it wouldn't hurt anything. Regardless of the appearance, this Rainsong plays like a Boss with Big , Full output in volume and presence and the action is as good as my favorite. All-Graphite Body with no Body Braces and a Lacquered Tobacco Burst Finish. 21-Fret Composite Fingerboard with Pearl Dot Inlays. Single Piece Graphite N2 Composite Neck with an Adjustable Truss Rod.1.75 Width at the Nut. Rainsong TKL 5 latch Locking Flight Hardcase with Key.
God bless and Thanks for Looking! My camera was in mirror mode so everything is backwards.
