Very nice Vintage 70s Conn F-9 Folk sized Acoustic Guitar with what is probably the original case. Really nice looking and playing guitar. In researching these I found info that said Conn guitars were manufactured by Aria in Japan between 1968 and 1978, however, a fellow eBayer advised me that these were made by.
Tokia in Japan between 1971 and 1978. Either way this Is a real nice copy of a similar era Martin/Gibson Triple O, Folk or Grand Concert Size acoustic with a what looks to me like a Solid Spruce top with very nice X bracing and what looks to me like solid Rosewood Back and Sides with a nice dark Rosewood fret board that has a pretty stripe going down it. It feels great and has a really nice rich tone. It may be solid wood or not, I don't know, but.The way this plays, feels, resonates and sounds to me, and the model designation of F-9 as opposed to F-1, F-5, etc. (like other guitar manufacture model numbers have used for mode type).
Make me think this sweet Folk Acoustic is solid spruce/rosewood. I'm no pro-luthier but rather just a player so no guarantees. The high E string is broken so I will include a new set of strings in the box.The item "Very Nice Vintage Conn Acoustic Folk Guitar, Spruce withRosewood Back and Sides" is in sale since Monday, December 31, 2018.
